Our Veterinarians
Dr. David McGrath graduated with a B.A. degree from Cornell University and received a M.S. degree from Tufts University. Dr. McGrath returned to Tufts University and was awarded his D.V.M. degree in 1986.
Dr. McGrath is a member of numerous local, regional and national veterinary organizations. He is also a trustee at the Museum of Science and on the board of overseers at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Neil Storey, Chief of Staff, joined Weston Veterinary Clinic in 2001. Neil was born and raised in England, and graduated with a B.Sc. Honors Degree in Applied Biology from the University of Salford in 1982. In 1985 Dr. Storey was awarded a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Nottingham for his studies in parasite immunology. In 1987, he joined New England Biolabs in Beverly, Massachusetts and later became a Senior Scientist with BASF in Cambridge. He returned to the classroom after being accepted at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. As a student at Tufts, Neil received awards in small animal medicine and surgery, anesthesia and academic excellence. Working as a small animal practitioner, Dr. Storey has professional interests in general medicine, surgery, infectious diseases and internal parasites. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of his work, Neil likes to follow his English soccer teams and every fall enthusiastically follows fantasy football. He is also an avid movie watcher and technophile. He is married with two dogs. |
Dr. Kelly Bentley has been an Associate at Weston Veterinary Clinic since 2001. She was raised in Bellingham, Massachusetts. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology in 1992. She first became interested in veterinary medicine while working as a volunteer at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Queensland, Australia during a semester abroad in her undergraduate program. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2000 following several years as a 4-H instructor and veterinary technician. She also has experience as a volunteer with the Pet Loss Support Hotline through Tufts University. It was her work as a veterinary technician and volunteer that motivated her to pursue her career in Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry and senior pet care. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading and cooking. Most of all, she loves spending time with her husband, and their two sons. Other members of her family include a cat and a golden retriever. |
Michael Krawshuk joined Weston Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Mike was born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut. He graduated in 1993 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Gettysburg College. He then attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1997. Upon graduation, he completed a small animal medical and surgical internship in Darien, Connecticut. Prior to joining Weston as a full time Associate, Dr. Krawshuk had 4 plus years of small animal experience in private practice, and has developed expertise in emergency and critical care skills. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. He is also an active member with the Tufts Veterinary Alumni Association. In his spare time, Mike enjoys golf and tennis, fine wine, gardening and spending lots of time with his family. His family includes his wife and two children, a dog and two cats. |
Dr. Joel Woolfson was born in Boston and raised in Westwood and Milton, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree Summa Cum Laude in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts in 1977. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with honors from Michigan State University - College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Following graduation, Joel completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Medicine. By 1986, he finished his Residency in Small Animal Surgery through Angell Memorial Animal Hospital/Tufts University School of Medicine Program. In 1999, Joel gained acceptance as a member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Although Dr. Woolfson formally joined the Weston Veterinary Clinic as our board-certified surgical specialist in 2006, he has been practicing with the clinic for many years as a visiting surgeon. Dr. Woolfson is licensed in Massachusetts and Arizona, and is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. His personal interests include hiking and riding in the Southwest Desert and he enjoys spending time with his three sisters, three nieces and two nephews. He lives with Annie, his chocolate Labrador whom he rescued in 2002. You can see Annie and Dr. Woolfson at Weston on Mondays and Thursdays.
